From the Rite‑Aid counter to the corner shop.
Long‑time Mountain View residents know us as the small watch counter tucked inside the old Grant Road Plaza Rite‑Aid. When the drugstore closed, we moved a few doors down and put up the yellow sign. Same craftsman. Same plaza. Same prices.
The shop wears two hats. Up front: a friendly counter for $10 batteries, watchband resizing, and car‑key fobs — the kind of fixes you used to be able to find on every Main Street and rarely can now.
In back: a watchmaker's bench for antique Swiss mechanicals, pocket watches, and the heirloom that's been sitting in your drawer for ten years. The owner restores vintage pieces as a hobby and on commission. The collector and the kid with a Casio get the same respect.
